The Grand Canyon in northern Arizona is one of the seven natural “Wonders of the World.” The canyon is so vast and deep that it’s challenging to capture with canvas and paint. In this scene, I focused on the cooler shadows on the rock formations in the foreground and the warmth of the setting sun on the middle section.
