My thoughts while working on this painting had to do with choosing to ‘see’.

I often find myself focusing on what I can control, where I feel the safest and most content, ignoring the rest, which sometimes is a good idea. And yet in order to progress I have to see the whole picture, I have to face danger and challenges.
