This delicate necklace consists of Blue/Green Persian Turquoise with silver accent beads and oval/floral shaped pendant. It measures approximately 16.5″ in length. Pendant 3/4″w x 1″h

Turquoise: Turquoise was found in Persia (Iran) and traded through out Turkey (hence the derivation of the name “Turkish” stone) Turquoise is one of the oldest substances used to make jewelry. The robin’s egg blue or sky blue color of the Persian turquoise mined near the modern city of Neyshabur in Iran has been used as a guiding reference for evaluating turquoise quality. The stone itself can be found in hues of blue, green and a bluish-green.
