Lapis Necklace with Silver Drums (18-201)

The Lapis Beads on this necklace is a pale blue, round Lapis beads and Silver Drums.
This necklace measures approx. 17″ in length.

Lapis Lazuli: Prized by the earliest inhabitants of India, Persia, Mesopotamia and Egypt, Lapis Lazuli consists of grains of several blue minerals. The flecks visible on it are gold deposits from mines. Lapis was called “the heavenly stone” by early Egyptians because it resembled the color if the sky.
