Lapis Necklace with Oval Beads (18-17)

The Lapis Beads on this necklace are a traditional blue, oval shaped beads and vintage silver accents.
This necklace measures approx. 16″ in length. Oval beads measure 3/4″ each.

Lapis Lazuli: Prized by the earliest inhabitants of India, Persia, Mesopotamia and Egypt, Lapis Lazuli consists of grains of several blue minerals. The flecks visible on it are gold deposits from mines. Lapis was called “the heavenly stone” by early Egyptians because it resembled the color if the sky.
