Gashi Necklace w/ Lost Wax Pendant (GLW19)

This necklace has Bluetone Gashi and Silver Accent beads and a Lost Wax Pendant.

It measures approximately 26″ in length. Lost Wax Pendant measures: 2.25″ w x 2.75″h

Gashi Beads: In the local language “gashi” means fired. These are West African beads from Ghana. The beads are pressed in moulds, then fired. They are often left with a granular, opaque surface and sometimes polished to acquire a deep, glowing color ranging from green to blue to brown.

Lost Wax: The method of casting metals in sand, foam or rubber moulds.
